Data controller

Damian Hiltebrand is responsible for processing data on this website. You can send privacy questions and requests for access, correction or deletion using the Contact form.

Visiting the website

This website is hosted by METANET AG in Zurich, Switzerland. When you visit, connection data needed for its operation is processed in server logs. This may include your IP address, the time of access, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, your browser and your operating system.

This data is used to keep the website secure and stable and to diagnose errors. It is retained only as long as needed for these purposes or required by law.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are processed to deliver and respond to your enquiry. The message is sent to this website's data controller through Brevo's transactional email service. This does not create a newsletter contact.

Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed to handle your enquiry or any follow-up correspondence, subject to statutory retention requirements.

Newsletter

For the newsletter, your email address, selected topics and signup details needed to record your consent are processed. Brevo first sends a confirmation email. You are added to the selected topic lists only after you confirm.

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or the Contact form. Processing carried out before you withdraw your consent remains lawful.

Brevo email service

The contact form and newsletter use Brevo, a service provided by Brevo SAS in France, as a data processor. Brevo processes the necessary data on the controller's instructions and may engage contractually bound subprocessors.

Where data is processed outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, Brevo relies on recognised data protection safeguards for the transfer under its data processing agreement. You can find more information in Brevo's privacy policy.

Cookies and local game saves

The contact page uses an essential session cookie to protect and operate its forms. It contains no form data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Your chosen language is stored in a cookie for one year. It contains only “de” or “en”. When you switch languages, unfinished forms may be saved temporarily in your browser's session storage; these drafts are deleted after they are restored.

Some playable projects may save settings or game progress in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and can be deleted in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access to your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Please send your request using the Contact form. Proof of identity may be required to prevent misuse.
